It seems this blog has evolved into something different from what was originally intended. Evolved for the better I'd say.

Below are... chapters - for lack of a better word - of a series of stories I write. Most of the stories take place in the little (fictional) town of Sowell Pike in Collin's County. A rural part of the upper southern region of the US.

My wife has been gracious enough to sit through me playing music for the last seven years. Thought I'd see if I could make someone else's ears bleed (she's getting a little light headed and dizzy). So here's the first.

This is a song titled 1984 originally by Anti-Flag (gotta satisfy the copywrong rights :). I'm performing without any amplification or studio dubbing or anything of any kind. Just me and my acoustic - and a little right out of the blue backing vocals from my little one.
