every day we're losing it,
inch by inch and brick by brick,
we build these walls so high,
we can't even see inside,
ourselves and introspection,
have gone the way of direct election,
unthought of and forgotten,
until we reach the bottom,
of the barrel doesn't seem so,
bad and out of season,
so complacent we've become,
we still think we're having fun,
most of us can't sleep at night,
with this pill you can do it right,
but of course this may cause,
undo side effects, it's in the clause,
the fine print is now standing out,
our stance is a dance of doubt,
juggling dept and hope,
we'll do our best to cope,
with the blind nature of the us all,
every day we build these walls,
brick by brick and inch by inch,
oh so slowly we're losing it.

It seems this blog has evolved into something different from what was originally intended. Evolved for the better I'd say.
Below are... chapters - for lack of a better word - of a series of stories I write. Most of the stories take place in the little (fictional) town of Sowell Pike in Collin's County. A rural part of the upper southern region of the US.
Welcome and enjoy, check back regularly (or follow the facebook links) to see what's happening in our pleasant little town. Because it is ours, Reader, it belongs to us, though all we can do is hold tight and see what happens next.
